BARFOOT PATH

The longest barefoot path in Austria

How do I stand in the world? How do I proceed when I want to undertake something? When is a step progress? Why do we ask: how is it going? Our language is full of references to feet, to walking, to standing (understanding). On the barefoot path, we invite you to put one foot in front of the other, completely deliberately and attentively, and to go on a stroll ("spazieren", the German word for stroll, comes from the Latin spatiari – to indulge). Walking over the wide variety of surfaces massages the soles of the feet, increases circulation, and stimulates the entire organism via the foot's reflex zones.

Learn to think barefoot!

But to do that, you need to take off your shoes and socks. Walking thus also becomes an example for how we proceed. We develop our positions in the same way we position our feet with each step. How about learning how to think barefoot as we walk barefoot? Thinking without preconceptions, feeling one's way, like feet walking along the barefoot path.
